My LibreOffice Asia Conference 2019 Day2. CJK Hackfest Report
Hello, I’m DaeHyun Sung, TDF Member in Seoul, Korea, since January 2019.
I attended LibreOffice Asia Conference 2019 Tokyo, All days(Both Day1 and Day2).
This article is LibreOffice Asia 2019 Tokyo Day2 CJK Hackfest report.
2019–05–26 (May 26, 2019, Sunday)
After checking out at the my stay, I went around the Tokyo Station(東京駅) and went to the LibreOffice Asia 2019 Tokyo venue.
LibreOffice Asia Conference Day2 started at 10 o’clock.
When I checked the source code, At that time, I asked Takeshi Abe

Also, I asked both Takeshi Abe and Mark Hung about font config and ‘officecfg/registry/data/org/openoffice/VCL.xcu’ file.

After, Two people[Japanese person Takeshi Abe and Taiwanese person, Mark Hung] advised to me, I checked some source codes.
then, I checked Korean fonts on Linux, MacOSX andWindows.
Below is checking Korean font pictures.
At that time, I and Mark Hung discussed with Korean Input Method systems.
Because, Some Korean Hangul bugs appear on LibreOffice.
Below is it’s related bugs.
- 117008 – Last-letter bug in korean
- 123061 – Can’t combine Korean Hangul Final Consonant on specific Hangul Syllable ‘가’in LibreOffice Impress
In Lunch, I ate Japanese Spicy Ramen. It’s delicious, but not spicy for me. (Japanese Spicy Ramen is more mild than Korean Spicy Ramen such as 辛ラーメン 신라면 Shin Rameon )
After had a Lunch, I watched TDF Certification interviews. Also I checked Korean fonts and LibreOffice Source codes.
LibreOffice Asia Conference 2019 Tokyo Day2 All session is finished.
The session ended and closed.
During the closing, I said closing message about the conference. I would like to thank all those who prepared this conference.
After LibreOffice Asia Conference Day2, I had a dinner with Japanese, European TDF members.
After the dinner, I and Naruhiko Ogasawara[小笠原 徳彦] visited Zojoji temple[増上寺].

At that time(LibreOffice Asia Conference 2019 Day2. CJK Hackfest), I discuss with Mark Hung about Korean Hangul-Hanja Conversion Dialog UI’s ‘add Korean Ruby text’ bug on LibreOffice Asia Conference 2019 Tokyo Day2.
After the CJK Hackfest, I and Mark Hung fixed the bug using mail and bugzilla.
It’ll be reflected on LibreOffice future version 6.4
